DRESSAGE
Correction to Handbook
Dressage Judges’ List,
Incorrect Phone Number listed for Sonia De Berner
Correct Phone Number is 9497 5286
Attn: Maragret River Dressage Riders
I have just returned from Margaret River Dressage and had a fabulous weekend at a well run event. This morning I started to get my horse ready to work and discovered many "Roo Ticks" on her legs. I have been to the vet and had them removed, plus have follow up treatment to administer.
I would ask that all riders from the event have a quick check of their horses legs to make sure they havent also picked up some ticks (they were quite small and looked like large fleas on the skin). My horse was kept in a paddock not far from the grounds and I had ridden my horse through the surrounding bush on the Friday before the event so this could account for the ticks, however I am also aware that many people also kept their horses close by and near bush during the event.
Once again thank you to the organisers for putting on a great weekend.

The evening offers a unique opportunity for guests to indulge in a wonderful night filled with fine dining, great wine and entertainment, whilst raising funds for a worthwhile organisation.

It is sure to be the most fun you can have off the course in 2008. VOLUNTEER NEWS
“Volunteer for a day”
There are a number of events coming up that are in desperate need of volunteers. You may not normally have time to volunteer, or feel you don’t have the skills.
For 2008 the EFA(WA) is bringing in an initiative of “volunteer for a day”. All we ask is that if you don’t usually volunteer that you just take one day out of your busy schedule to lend a hand at an event of you choosing. We will make sure that on that day you are fed and watered.
Everyone that contacts me to participate in “Volunteer for a day” will go in the draw for our fantastic raffle and will also be invited to our “Volunteer Week Celebration” and other events within the year.
So please, take one day out of your schedule to put back into the sport that gives you so much.
Contact Jess at the EFA 9296 1200 or volunteercoordinator@efawa.com.au.
