 2008 INTERSCHOOLS

18th - 20th April 2008 at the SEC.

On Monday of this week we emailed 1100 schools with an information pack that included an introductory letter, copy of the Handbook, Permission Slip for students and also DET School Excursion specific information.  We also sent via post hard copies of the above to every school that competed last year.

If you school missed out please contact Jacqui on 95783717 or 0417124352 to arrange for a pack to be sent.

Banner Competition:  This year we are introducing a School Support Banner compeitition.  Banners are to be made by students at competing schools and are to be 1m square in size and be made of either cloth or paper style material.  We will be offering prizes to both Primary and Secondary schools so get your school art departments involved and lets see some great banners.  These will all be displayed together upstairs in the indoor arena and should make for quite a colorful sight.

Entries:  We are finalising the entry forms at the moment and I would expect that they will be open on Monday.

Jumping Competancy Forms - don't forget we are running an open competition on March 3rd at the Swan Valley PC grounds at the back of the SEC. Bring your form along have it signed and then you may leave the form with us!

Merchandise -Hats, Shirts and Lanyards will be available this year.  We are in the process of ordering fantastic stylish new shirts for interschools.  These will be available online with your entry form and will also be on sale over the Interschools weekend.  Watch this space for a pic soon.  Shirts will be available for $30 and proffits from the sale of these shirts will go directly to help send out WA team to the Nationals.

Stabling - A reminder that stables will only be made available to those competitors who live more than 100klms from the SEC.  This year stables are able to be booked on a day by day basis @$10 per day.  The Nominate booking system I am told has Google Earth attached to it so if you live closer than 100klms to the SEC then your stable application will be rejected.  If you wish to have you name down on a waiting list in case stables become available then please email your request to jmoon@bigpond.net.au
