Short Term Contract - Expressions of Interest Sought - WA Equine Influenza Industry Group/WA Horse Council
Under the auspices of the Western Australian Equine Influenza Industry Group, the WA Horse Council is developing and delivering specific training to Event Organisers on EI Awareness and Contingency Planning. This training will support the use of the Contingency Planning Template developed by the WAHC. Each Session will have a “guest presenter” to cover the broader “EI Awareness” topic, followed by training on Contingency Planning, including a practical exercise. Show Horse Rule Amendments for 2008
Some Rule Amendments for 2008 are now available for download.

New FEI Registration form available for 2008
FEI registration needs to be renewed every calendar year.

2008 EFA Dressage Rules and Freestyle Tests Released
The 2004 Dressage Rules and Freestyle Tests will be superseded on 1 January 2008.

Nominations for 2008 EFA Vaulting Committee
Nominations are open from all EFA members for the 2008-09 EFA National Vaulting Committee

FEI launches new web
The FEI 'refreshed' its web site www.fei.org over Christmas.

Young Riders compete at the CSI-Y event in Chennai India
On the 28th and 29th December a team of young riders competed on borrowed horses in a CSI-Y competition. The teams competition was held on the first day and concluded with an individual event on the second day.
