Jumping WA Competition, Clinics and Important Dates
SHOWHORSE WA NEWS.
Show Horse Squads 2008
Representatives from the Show Horse Committee recently attended a meeting with the High Performance Manager, and the CEO. After much discussion, the following format will be adapted for the 2008 season:
Horseland State Senior squad
This squad is open to riders 16 years of age and over. It’s purpose is to cater for dedicated riders who aim to represent Western Australia in National competition and to provide an extra level for our younger riders to aspire to. This squad will be the high performance squad that will be administered by Jenine Dilts. Up to 6 clinics will be held with local and interstate coaches.
Young Riders Squad
As the age of the State squad has been lowered to fall in line with State and National high performance requirements, YRS will now be open to riders aged from 9 to 15 years. Up to 6 clinics will be held with local and interstate coaches. Clinics will be 1 day during school term and can be extended to 2 days during school holidays provided this is supported by the attendance of squad members.
The criteria and application form for both squads can be downloaded from the EFAWA website. Squads will remain a fantastic opportunity for you to access the resources that the EFA develop for your advantage and we encourage all interested parties to apply as soon as possible.
