EFA WA E-News 18th October, 2007

Hello Everyone,

We have a very full weekend coming up this weekend with the Brooker Swan River Horse Trials at Brookleigh and the Showjumping World Cup at the SEC. Hopefully we will see you at one or both of these events!  This week has seen the launch for the first FEI approved video game called "My Horse and Me" which will be released here next week.  This should be a fun and educational game for the whole family which covers general horsemanship through to competing in top level showjumping around the world.  Also this week we have sent a reminder about members showing courtessy and respect to our officials and volunteers. This is not something that we should have to remind you about!  Volunteers, officials and event organisers are the backbone of our industry - please treat them with the respect that they deserve!

Please take some time to have a look at our sponsors websites:

Have a great, safe and fun weekend.

GIDGE 2 IS ON!  NOV24/25 Thank you for your overwhelming response, which we can not ignore!

At Gidgegannup Showgrounds and x-c course

The Gidge x-c course is set in gently rolling parkland, with a soil type that is fantastic for jumping on - even in the dry season.  The back section of the course has had well over 200 tonnes of sand applied to tracks this year making them superb for galloping and jumping on - (and more is on the way).

The course incorporates a variety of interesting and challenging fences from Intro 2 to 2* level, and was designed and built by Tom Compagnoni and is in it's 5th year of competition.

Classes: Intro 2 to 2* (sorry no PC this time)

Details as previous Gidge event - see handbook - and for entry form. (Details also on GH&PC website and Cavalletti).
